Moonflight heard her daughter leave. She entered the camp behind Willowstar and told him. "I told Whisperflight about Nightpaw, Frostpaw and the fox. She seemed so upset afterward. Do you think that I shouldn't have told her?" Moonflight desperately needed her mates support now. (Sorry short.)

"I told Whisperflight about Nightpaw, Frostpaw and the fox. She seemed so upset afterward. Do you think that I shouldn't have told her?"
Willowstar sighed and turned to face the she-cat behind him. "I think that it's good that she knows- she might have remembered anyways. It's natural to be upset about those matters. Just give her some time and space." He gave his mate what he hoped was a comforting lick. "Come on, let's get something to eat. She'll be fine." Padding over to the prey pile, he pulled out a finch and settled down with it to eat. Willowstar walked over to his mate with another piece of prey and dropped it at her paws.

Moonflight sighed knowing that he was right and followed him to the freshkill pile. She took a mouse and laid down heavily near it. She didn't feel like eating though and hardly touched the mouse. She was too busy thinking of her daughter.

Whisperflight watched the two ThunderClan cats across the border. The ginger one was talking to a more hidden cat- another ThunderClan member? Well, duh. That would be why they were talking and not fighting. Then the hidden cat left and only the ginger was left. Suddenly, she padded across the border, and Whisperflight almost raked her fur off then and there. No cat would step on her territory. However, the ThunderClan cat seemed uncomfortable. Good, thought Whisperflight, she'll leave soon if she feels uncomfortable. She almost jumped out of her pelt when the cat said a single word. "Hello?"
The word seemed to echo throughout the sudden silence of the forest. She hissed under her breath and stepped into the clearing. "Who are you, and why are you on-" Whisperflight stopped in the middle of a sentence. She knew this cat- she was Russet-something. A warrior, now, most likely. Her sister had secretly seen Nightpaw- Whisperflight's dead brother. Blossompaw had led him to his death- they had explored an abandoned fox den and the fox killed them both. Her sister, Frostpaw, heard them and tried to save them, but she died too.
Whisperflight thought Fate was cruel, so cruel- she had just been reminded of her siblings, and Russet-something had the... impertinence to show up to ruin her day even more. She screeched and leapt onto the ginger she-cat's back. She pinned the surprised she-cat to the ground, holding her down and hissing. "Why are you here? I thought you'd never return!" Whisperflight remembered that Russet-something had come to her when she was gravely wounded, and ThunderClan had no medicine cat- they had both died in the war. She made- Russetwhisker, she remembered now- vow to never return unless it was a dire emergency.
So why was the she-cat here now?

Shadepelt stopped his trek to lick his ruffled fur. As his black hair fell flat he continued. His paws landed silently as he crossed the border. The familiar scent of his clan mates wafted into his nostrils and coated his pelt. He twitched his whiskers and loped further into the territory. The scent of prey tempted him but the tiny scuffles in the snow were few and feeble. He knew that the clan was suffering. He glided across the frozen surface of hard packed crystals. The reason why Shadepelt had been absent was because he had traveled into the two leg place to gather forces to kill off the rats there. He had been wounded in battle and couldn't travel back to the gorge for a moon. But now he was home. He leaped down the rocks into the gorge. "Anybody home?" He yowled. Shadepelt's paws shuffled in the snow. His ears were pricked for any sound, his yellow eyes scanned the caves.

"Anybody home?"
Moonflight's head shot up at the sound of Shadepelt's voice. She nudged her mate, "Listen I think Shadepelts back." Quickly she got up and raced to the entrance. There was Shadepelt. "How are you Shadepelt?" Moonflight called in greeting. "What took you so long? It's been a whole moon since we last saw you. We thought you were dead like everyone else."

Relieved by the familiar voice of clan mates he smiled. "Just a rat bite." He grinned and shook his left forepaw where the skin was healed but no fur was shown. The crisp winter air ruffled his fur. "Where'd everybody go?"

"Just a rat bite." Moonflight purred in amusement, a rat bite was something big not small. She started to groom herself.
"Where'd everybody go?" Moonflight froze paw at her mouth tongue out and stammered, "uh-well we-I," She unfroze for a moment and turned to look back at the entrance to the den sure that Willowstar would be there.

Shadepelt perked up. "Oh no. What happened!" Whenever Moonflight was like this something bad was afoot. He lashed his tail anxiously and stared wide eyes into her face.

{Sorry I haven't been on much. Lost the site to a cache clear.}
Willowstar padded into the den, startled to see his mate's face so anxious. "The Clans had a huge war, and many of the cats were slain. A Plague also swept through and the Clans... We're almost gone. All of the cats have been affected. And a new Prophecy is underpaw."

At the appearance of Willowstar, Moonflight relaxed. She moved to sit beside him and continued grooming herself as though nothing had ever happened. Moonflight dismissed the words of her mate with a flick of her tail. She had forgotten for a moment what had happened, and in her mind it hadn't been as bad as he made it out to be, so she decided to clear that up for Shadepelt, saying, "It wasn't that bad, many of us are still alive." She said this with perfect confidence and looked towards the entrance of the camp, positive that they would all come into camp proving her right. Her eyes glazed over and she saw them all come in and the camp was once again filled with voices.

Willowstar flicked his tail over his mate's back. She had calmed considerably since he entered. "It wasn't that bad, many of us are still alive." She gazed at the den entrance with glassy eyes. "Moonflight?" Willowstar whispered, nudging her shoulder gently.
